GAAP Income and Per Share Data – On a GAAP basis, net income attributable to Micron shareholders for the third quarter of fiscal 2014 was $806 million, or $0.68 per diluted share, compared to net income of $731 million, or $0.61 per diluted share, for the second quarter of fiscal 2014 and net income of $43 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, for the third quarter of fiscal 2013.

Additionally, Andrews & Springer LLC on June 16 said it is investigating potential breach of fiduciary duty claims against the Board of Directors of Fusion-IO, Inc. (FIO) relating to the sale of the Company to SanDisk Corporation (“SanDisk”) (SNDK). On June 16, 2014, the two companies announced the signing of a definitive merger agreement pursuant to which SanDisk will acquire Fusion-IO in a merger via a tender offer in a deal worth roughly $1.1 billion. As a result of the merger, Fusion-IO shareholders are only anticipated to receive $11.25 per share in cash in exchange for each share of Fusion-IO they own.
Banco Santander, S.A. (ADR) (NYSE:SAN)’s stock dropped 4.71% to $9.91. The company on June 11 announced that it recently signed an agreement with Ocean County College through which its Santander Universities division will provide funding to support programs for low-income Lakewood High School students.
“By investing in the students of Ocean County College, we are investing in their future,” said Eduardo Garrido, Director of Santander Universities US. “The funding from this agreement will provide students in underserved communities with academic support to prepare for college and financial assistance to pursue their studies at Ocean County College.”
